These fire risk assessment templates have been produced by the Festival Focus Group of the Chief Fire Officers Association for use by small to medium sized food concessions, traders and market stall holders operating at outdoor events to help them fulfil their obligations under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005. Provision of these templates does not preclude the use of other risk assessment tools in order to provide a suitable and sufficient risk assessment.

This format is unlikely to be suitable for larger scale structures or operations which would require a more specific risk assessment to be undertaken.

The responsibility for producing a suitable and sufficient fire risk assessment rests with the “responsible person” as defined by the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety)Order 2005. Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service and the Chief Fire Officers Association accept no responsibility for any completed risk assessments produced from these templates.
