All welcome at Salisbury Fire Station open day!
Salisbury fire station is throwing open its doors to local people this Saturday in aid of the Fire Fighters Charity.
The open day will run from 1pm to 5pm and those visiting will be able to enjoy a range of activities, including drills, demonstrations, displays, stalls, children’s rides and a giant car boot sale.
In addition, there will be numerous fire service appliances and other emergency service vehicles on show.
Cllr Mike Osment, the Deputy Mayor of Salisbury, will open the free admission event at 1pm.
Steve Jugg, Wiltshire Fire & Rescue Service’s Station Manager for Salisbury, said: “This promises to be a great afternoon, with lots to see and do, and we’re hoping to raise a lot of money for the Fire Fighters Charity.”
